Misc Updates
With the horrible spring heat wave finally over, I’ve been able to get back to my How To Train Your Dragon drawing. Our management hasn’t enabled AC yet and I can’t sit in front of my monitors in 80+ degree weather. With the cooler temperatures, I spent the day working on the Toothless portion (here’s an update):

I’ve also enabled a WIP thumbnail on my deviantART page that I update any time I work on my drawings (usually once or twice during the week and then every weekend).
Speaking of Toothless, I spotted an EXCELLENT hand made plush of him at the National Cherry Blossom Festival yesterday:

I had to run after the lady carrying him. I’m so glad she had the patience to let me take a picture of her since I had my telephoto lens on and I kept having to back away from her. Thanks, random stranger!
We had a great time hanging out with Josh and co down at the festival - had some good food and loafed around next to the Washington Monument.

Shortly before taking this picture, a really clueless person decided it was more important to walk in front of my shot than side step me by 1 foot in a field that is literally thousands of square feet.
After the festival, we had to run up to the inner harbor for DJ’s birthday at Phillips. Had some Chesapeake crab cakes and watched DJ put on a skull themed onesie. Happy Birthday, pal!
Also, I never wrote about Dave’s big party! It was a completely awesome Japanese themed party with a hired sushi chef (ALL YOU CAN EEEAATTT). I felt like I was going to explode.
I did the design for the shirts; a custom design based on a running joke. I’m putting the design under a cut for slightly NSFWish covered chest topography.
William and I had a great time. Happy Birthday, Dave and thanks for having us!
